With just 100 days until the Nov. 3 election, Wisconsin Republicans and Democrats are hustling to reach voters and rally their bases while campaign volunteers adjust to the coronavirus pandemic.

Democrats are leaning heavily on virtual events and outreach, while Republicans plan a mixture of virtual and in-person campaigning.

“I don’t feel that we’re reaching the number of voters this time around in this campaign because of that,” Muenster said.

Trump canceled the Jacksonville, Florida, portion of the Republican National Convention also because of the pandemic.

Reiman had planned to attend the Republican convention as a delegate and understands why the Jacksonville portion was canceled.
