While the distribution of anti-Asian hate crime in Los Angeles and New York City is similar to the distribution of all other hate crimes, the percentages of anti-Asian hate crimes in Boston and Seattle are close to double that of their national contribution to all hate crimes.
San Francisco reported 3.32 percent of all reported anti-Asian hate crimes but less than 1 percent of all hate crimes in the United States.
