President-elect Joe Biden continued to fill out his administration on Thursday, announcing his choices for several Cabinet and other top government positions with names that hearken back to the Obama administration.
Susan Rice, the former U.N. ambassador and national security adviser under President Barack Obama, will serve as Biden’s top domestic policy adviser and director of the Domestic Policy Council.
Another nominee announced on Thursday, Tom Vilsack, will likely assume the same role he held under the Obama administration.
Biden also named Katherine Tai as his choice to be the administration’s U.S. trade representative.
