David Dobrik, Avani Gregg, and Brittany Broski are among the first 19 recipients of TikTok’s $1 billion Creator Fund.
Announced in July, the fund is meant to fill the monetization gap for “hundreds of thousands of creators,” Vanessa Pappas, the general manager of TikTok U.S., wrote in a blog post this morning.
The fund will grow to $1 billion in the U.S. over the next three years, and more than $2 billion globally, per TikTok.
We don’t know how much each creator receives, or whether the amount varies from creator to creator.
We do know that TikTok has said it will distribute funds in “regular payments” to creators over the next year.
