According to a Center for Public Integrity/Ipsos poll last month, 60% of Asian Americans have witnessed threats or harassment toward Asian Americans since the start of the pandemic.

Unfortunately, the view of Asian Americans broadly being considered potential threats during moments of national crisis has deep roots in American history.

San Diego County has approximately 400,000 Asian Americans, primarily made up of Filipino, Chinese, Vietnamese and Indian Americans.
