Badr spoke with Rewire about finding his poetic voice, and his process of collecting original works from displaced young people across the globe.

I traveled to Greece, came back to the U.S., and then I went to Trinidad and Tobago, conducting workshops and interviews with displaced young people who are in camps, outside of camps, living in different contexts.

You guys met on World Refugee Day at U.N. Headquarters in New York.
