Lin discussed how Asian Americans have been subjected to violent attacks and hate-speech online during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how important it is to step up and speak out against racism and violence.

“Take a second to really think about what you’re saying or doing, or even if you know somebody who is acting ignorant, it’s okay for you to call them out.
It helps to shape the way that I think about things, and other small things I think are applicable are finding ways to think about other people, to love other people, too.
