Do We All Look Alike?

:“You all look alike,” is what people told me when I was a kid growing up.

“You all look alike” has two connotations.

Korean Americans, whose families may have been oppressed by Chinese and Japanese alike, ironically are treated as if they were both or either.

More importantly, Asian Americans have achieved leadership roles, and Asian Americans have developed critical mass.
