Every May since 1990, we’ve celebrated Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (or lovingly known as APAHM for short).
Before that, starting in 1979, we had Asian Pacific American Heritage Week, when seven days were thought to be enough to celebrate over 17 million people (according to the 2010 census — though a sizable portion of the Asian population most likely wasn’t counted).
That impact, without a pigment of doubt, includes beauty.
